What are common steering problems?

Shaking or vibrating coming from the steering wheel – this could be down to wheel, tyre or suspension problems
Your car pulling to the side when you want to drive straight – this is often because your wheels need aligning
If you’re finding it difficult to turn the steering wheel – could be due to problems with the power steering system such as a steering fluid leak
Strange noises when steering – sometimes caused by problems in the steering column or worn-out suspension components

These are the most typical steering issues that drivers tend to come across so you may have experienced something else that concerns you or that you suspect might signal a problem with your steering system. In such a case, get in touch with our team on 0191 386 4370 or contact us here and we’ll be happy to help you and advise.
